Menus

The pattern on the menu design was informed by visual ques from the restaurant.

The geometric menu cover acknowledges the patterns in the lamps and wine racks in the restaurant. Copper funiture and gold accents are incorporated, as are steal blue hues from the fabric of the benches and the bar's barn wood covering.

Rationale

Building a brand is costly. Building a restaurant is costly. Building a restaurant to match a brand is even costlier.

Why not do it backwards?

Our thinking was that if we were flexible, we could "find" the brand inside and alongside the interior desing choices, which should inform the restuarants promise anyhow. The flexibility was rewarded with an identity that felt united and right in all of its expressions.
